Wound with an aluminum coil for operation on 12 or 24 volts DC, 60 - 75% duty cycle. *Supplied complete with rated high alloy chains and magnet male/female connectors*

The AEST 12/24V controller is supplied in a durable weather resistant and mountable panel. The AEST control with enclosed switchgear and operator control is required to energize the magnet and turn off, providing quick and safe pick up & drop of material. We can supply the AEST control with a remote or wired electric push button control. The MRS series is available in 28″, 34″, 38″ and 42″ sizes

Gensco builds the “Original” Hydraulic Magnet. The HMAG is a combination scrap handling magnet with power supply installed in a rugged case on the magnet. A suitable hydraulic circuit, in terms of flow and pressure (and return line) is connected to the magnet. Most often a bucket/hammer or auxiliary circuit is readily available on the boom or stick. Breaking the hydraulic flow through the valve begins an automatic drop circuit through electronic circuitry located within the enclosure. No electric line goes to the magnet and there is no major installation required on the carrier. 

System Features:
The HMAG can be quickly disconnected freeing up the machine for other duties and/or moved to another machine. A single system could then be quickly available for different users and sites within the company.  For companies with a fleet of machines, the hydraulic magnet offers a great deal of flexibility and efficiency.

The SKIDMAG scrap magnet system is a unique combination of our heavy duty scrap handling magnet with power supply installed in a rugged steel enclosure on the magnet. An optional quick attach extended magnet boom can be supplied as a complete system.  The boom includes two hydralic lines and fittings to connect to the magnet system.  No electric line to the magnet is necessary and there is no installation of a generator or control to the machine other than a direct case drain port.  Breaking the hydraulic flow to the attachment begins an automatic drop circuit through electronic circuitry located within the enclosure on the magnet.  Great for companies with a fleet of machines working on various jobs and perhaps different locations, and do not wish or require a dedicated installation, the hydraulic magnet offers a great deal of flexibility and efficiency.
